Jane Goodall

• Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.

• Change happens by listening and then starting a dialogue with the people who are doing something you don't believe is right.

• If you really want something, and really work hard, and take advantage of opportunities, and never give up, you will find a way.

Florence Nightingale

How very little can be done under the spirit of fear.

Hospitals are only an intermediate stage of civilization.

It may seem a strange principle to enunciate as the very first requirement in a Hospital that it should do the sick no harm.

Stephen Hawkins

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.

If human life were long enough to find the ultimate theory, everything would have been solved by previous generations. Nothing would be left to be discovered.
