Beautiful Flowers

It was an original photo I took on my way to university. At the first, the reason why it attracted me was colour, my favourite colour is purple and the flower of purple are where to see. It had a beautiful shape and especially the core of the flower, which combined with many little stamens. when I looked at it closely, I found some of stamens bloomed to yellow. It was unusual that the stamen bloomed in natural world. I was wondering what it would be like when all little stamens bloomed.

FIFA World Cup

This was what I made by computer used as a poster for activities of Chinese Federation of Association Football to apply World Cup in 2018 when I was studying at high school. The main colours I selected to use in my work were black, white and grey. I used the Great Wall as symbol of China in the background. I tried to add 3D effect upon 2D work when I designed ball’s changing marks. The reason why I related football to Panda was to make it easier for audiences to imagine of China. The other reason I selected Panda was the colour of black and white was the same as football, and I could make an effect as the image showed.

The Water Cube

The blue building in the middle of image is National Aquatics Centre also known as The Water Cube will be one of the significant venues to sporting events for the Beijing Olympics this summer. The first impression for me is attractive, powerful and exciting by reason of its structural design. It is different from any structures in the world because it looks like a large cube. The texture is based on the natural formation of soap bubbles, which give a random, organic appearance. The designer also graduates from UNSW. I believe that I can be a successful architect as well.
