Sidney Nolan has used various methods to make his work, according to most of his paintings, it shows that he is highly impacted by the Australian landscape especially outback, "The Slip" is one of them. "The Slip"(1947) is a simply and fantastic painting by use of silkscreen. He used the method of oil painting to draw the landscapes by large brush stroke, and he tried to use the earthy colour that created a landscape-like atmosphere.

Ricky Swallow's Work, "Everything is nothing"(2003) is a wood-made sculpture which bases on the realist carving into a shape of Skull. It is a contemporary art work he made as his self-portrait displays to the audiences. The Sculpture was carved by his imagination and Ricky swallow hoped to express an attitude of life through his work, he had concentrated on the way of showing his work in details. It would be helpful to enhance the form of the sculpture and the process of production.
